Wakeboard Contest und Testival in Austria

This summer there will be wakeboard action again. With the upcoming start of the new wakeboard season, the hunt for valuable points begins. After the successful debut last year, we, along with the Wakeboard & Freestyle Sport Tyrol association, once again invite you to WAKE OPENING 2024 powered by X-Wake. This marks the beginning of the season with an international 600-point contest.

The Opening will be held as a prestigious IWWF 4* contest, attracting numerous top riders from all over the world. Everyone can participate, young and old, professional or newcomer. Boys/Girls, Junior Men/Women, Masters and Pros compete in the different categories. The event promises tricks of the highest skill level and the opportunity to collect 600 points for the world ranking. Qualifying rounds on Friday, May 3rd from 10.30am, lead to the showdown on Saturday, May 4th from 08.30am, featuring final runs from 1pm in all classes. The AREA 47 will be the meeting point for watersports enthusiasts throughout the entire weekend, where you can experience the action live at the WAKE Café.

In the focus is the reunion and the start into the new season, additionally we offer a perfect setup for the first contest with our obstacles.

Framed by a Testival boards, bindings & others from X-Wake can be tested and compared directly on the spot. On the days before and after the contest (Thursday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 5th, 2024), visitors have the opportunity to test the products for free and immediately assess the features of the test items at the water. Experts from X-Wake will be available at all times to answer questions and assist with sizing, and more.

This weekend offers plenty of excitement and entertainment. For those who prefer to stay dry, they can admire the professionals while enjoying a coffee at the Wake Café or test their balance on the slackline.
