Welcome to the world’s greatest outdoor park

Explore the new generation of the great outdoors.

Nature is calling! The Ötztal is your escape to recreation and re-creation. This region is a single, great outdoor park; a gigantic playground for all the crazy people for whom nothing is impossible; a large playing field for all those who won’t let themselves be defeated by failure; and a home for all those who venture a step further, even if they would rather go back. Great adventure awaits all those who are up for it, be it rafting on the untamed waters of the Ötztaler Ache, caving in a pitch-black cave labyrinth with a grim past, or canyoning through the magnificent world of pure rock and water that meet at exhilarating heights.

Nature has been our biggest inspiration from the very beginning when we began planning, building, and operating the world’s greatest outdoor park. No individual, regardless of how skilled, can live up to what Mother Earth has to offer in terms of architecture and design. No human construction could ever fully mimic a natural outdoor territory – and yet, our outdoor adventure park in Austria comes pretty close. Modelled on living nature with the greatest respect for our environment, our outdoor activity and adventure park eradicates the line between natural and manmade, along with uniting our love of extreme sports and pure insanity. Together with like-minded individuals, we venture outdoors. This is where heroes and heroines are born – welcome to the AREA 47 outdoor park, the greatest outdoor park in the whole wide world!
