When it comes to our Vertical Ropes canyoning tour in the Ötztal, the name really says it all! This experience is all about abseiling from heights of up to 15 metres. Facing backwards, you’ll climb down ropes into the most spectacular canyons the Ötztal has to offer. Discover canyons of over 70 metres, roaring waterfalls, and fascinating rock formations. The terrain we’ll enter on this tour is characterised by very narrow and deep passages, which will make your heart leap. There isn’t a soul to be seen, even though the entrance to the canyon leads you through Tyrol’s fairy-tale woods and rewards you with a true eyecatcher. If you still have a little energy left for some water action, you shouldn’t miss our splashy Water AREA, which is included in the price of this tour.

Allow between three to four hours for this tour including transfer. All equipment required for this tour, including helmet, wetsuit, and shoes, is provided by us. Please bring your own swimwear and toiletries, as well as a change of clothes. Showers, changing rooms, and lockers can be found at our Outdoor Base. Canyoning beginners welcome!

To book this canyoning tour in the Ötztal, you need to be 14 years or older and must not weigh more than 130 kilograms. If you are under 16, you must be accompanied by an adult. Other requirements include sure-footedness, good swimming ability, a head for heights, and a good physical condition.

The price includes your transfer to and from the canyon, your gear required for the tour (including footwear), as well as exclusive entry into our splashy Water AREA on the day of your visit.

This tour runs rain or shine. You’re going to get wet anyway! But if the weather is actually dangerous, an alternate date will be given.

This spectacular three- to four-hour tour is the ideal canyoning trip for beginners, allowing you to explore the Tyrolean mountains from a unique point of view. Rope down waterfalls, slide down slick, natural chutes, and jump down cliffs several metres high.


Beginner:

This advanced tour is available only to those with prior canyoning and abseiling experiences and it requires you to push past your limits. Explore rugged cliffs, wild rivers, steep rock faces, and more of the many highlights the Ötztal has to offer. Turn the water at the bottom of the cliffs into your own swimming pool and the waterfalls into your diving platform. This tour takes between three to four hours, including transfer.


Intermediate:

The Imster Schlucht rafting experience in the Ötztal in Tyrol is a great introductory white-water trip. It has a level three difficulty rating, meaning it’s suitable for beginners. The unique course of the river, however, excites rafters of all levels. Including some excellent waves and drops that guarantee bursts of laughter in the boat and plenty of adrenaline, rafting in the Imster Schlucht delivers a mix between great natural scenery and excellent white-water and is ideal for corporate, club, school, and family trips.


Beginner:
