Up for a challenge? As a captain with one or two companions, you’ll brave the rapids in the Imst Gorge. Paddle power play!
Don’t panic, you won’t be left alone – you’ll be accompanied from the outdoor base at AREA 47 in the Ötztal: an experienced guide trains you and is always by your side on a separate kayak as a command bridge. But you have to do the paddling yourself!
Tour information
Duration & Difficulty
- Up to 3 hours including safety talk, gear fitting, and transfer
- Previous experience is needed!
In three-person boats, the guide accompanies you in a separate safety kayak. All our tours are exclusively guided by certified professionals.
Equipment & Packing List
- Swimwear and towel
All equipment such as a wetsuit, shoes, helmet, and life jacket is provided. On-site, you’ll find changing rooms, lockers, and showers.
Requirements & Weather
- Rafting experience & excellent swimming skills
- Good physical condition
- Minimum age: 16 years | Maximum weight: 130 kg
The tour takes place in all weather. For unsafe conditions, a replacement date will be offered.
