Valley Swing: giant swing in Tyrol

Here, there’s no excuse to finally let loose. At a height of 94 metres.

Even hardcore adventurists will have a hard time keeping their eyes open from beginning to end. By the time you swoop past the rock face and approach the treetops at top speed with no way out, you’ll know why – and suddenly you’ll wonder: how can it be?

Knowing that safety is paramount to everything we do, you can simply relax (As if!) as you drop into our monstrous Valley Swing from atop the 94 metres high Benni Raich suspension bridge – and enjoy 45 metres of free-fall while centrifugal force and gravity engage in a tug-of-war that propels you across the Arzler Pitzeklamm soaring at an exhilarating speed.

Attention! Don’t confuse our Valley Swing experience with the Mega Swing. Like the teaser before the main feature, the Mega Swing is entertainment enough. However, the Valley Swing is the absolute pinnacle for advanced adrenaline junkies. Alone the climb to the platform will have you trembling. As you teeter along the wobbly railing, looking out at the expanse of nothingness you’re about to plunge yourself into, you’ll curse the day you discovered us at AREA 47.

Only minutes later, you’ll glorify it.

We provide all equipment required for this activity. You only need to bring appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing. Please check that your pockets are empty.

To participate you must be in good physical condition. Unfortunately, you cannot participate if you have epilepsy, heart conditions, high blood pressure, musculoskeletal disorders, ocular hypertension, chronic ear diseases associated with balance problems, or if you are pregnant or have recently had eye surgery.

You must be 14 years or older. If you are under 18, you are required to bring your parents’ consent. The minimum weight is 50 kilograms and maximum weight 115 kilograms.

Jumpers must be sober! If you’re under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication, or any other substances that may inhibit your judgement, you obviously won’t be allowed on the swing.

Meeting point is at the Benni-Raich-Bridge at Pitztal Valley. Please arrive ten minutes early for your scheduled experience and allow a total of 30 to 45 minutes for registration, instruction, and jump. The actual jump lasts just about five minutes.

The Valley Swing runs rain or shine. But if the weather is actually dangerous, an alternate date will be provided.

Brave enough?
