Are you already familiar with the cable community and feel ready for an upgrade? Go for the next level! Our Wake School Next Level takes the Wake School Basic a step further. To participate, you need prior wake experience – because it’s just no fun when the newbies are blocking your ride. The Wake School Next Level course includes one and a half hours of expert coaching and your personal RFID chip with a total of two hours of riding saved on its drive. Our goal is to teach you some groovy tricks and equip you with the skills you need to conquer some advanced obstacles.
Your wake training at a glance:
- 1,5 hours of intense expert training at Wake AREA
- 2h Wake AREA ticket for practicing independently incl. RFID band
- Rental equipment included (for the duration of the Wake School only)
- Duration: 1,5 hours approx.
- Minimum/Maximum group size: 3/10 persons
Our early and late season Wake School Next Level starts at 11.30 am Monday through Friday and at 10.30 am on Saturdays and Sundays. In the peak season, our wake school offer is available from 10.30 am daily.

Jump on your wakeboard, catch the next handle bar, and surf across the lake waters. At the Wake AREA, your exclusive wakeboarding park in the Ötztal, Tyrol with top-notch Rixen five-pillar cableway, you can pull off wicked tricks and get big air in front of the scenic backdrop of the Alps.
This advanced tour is available only to those with prior canyoning and abseiling experiences and it requires you to push past your limits. Explore rugged cliffs, wild rivers, steep rock faces, and more of the many highlights the Ötztal has to offer. Turn the water at the bottom of the cliffs into your own swimming pool and the waterfalls into your diving platform. This tour takes between three to four hours, including transfer.
