AREA 47 will be your first port of call for action-packed experiences in Austria all year round. Look forward to selected highlights that will make even the frostiest winter fire!
First skiing in the Ötztal, then mountain biking in the bike park? We’re keeping our indoor bike park open this winter. Right next door you’ll find cosy accommodation for your holiday in Tyrol. During the holidays, you can go on the high ropes course and experience bungee jumping and ice swimming as special events. Yeah!
AREA 47 is not only the starting point of the Ötztal, it’s also where your dream winter holiday begins: activities right on your doorstep and blissful peace and quiet at night! The ski areas are close by, but the indoor bike park is just a few steps away. Looking for more thrills or a Christmas gift? How about the high ropes course or bungee jumping?
Our accommodation is available in winter . When the winter sun disappears behind the mountain peaks, make yourself cosy inside: the smell of wood will keep you grounded, while a good sleep will keep you fit for your adventures. You can choose from our casual twin and triple rooms, double rooms and rustic-modern lodges, where you can stay overnight with up to four other people.

What should I pack for the indoor bike park?
Regular sportswear and sturdy shoes are sufficient for the indoor bike park. Helmets and protective gear are provided on site.
What types of accommodation are available?
Right on site, we offer different options: hotel rooms, apartments, and lodges – perfect for enjoying the AREA 47 winter experience in comfort.
On which days is accommodation available in winter?
Our accommodations are available from Thursday to Sunday during winter. Bookings on other days are possible upon request.
Which indoor activities are available in winter?
The indoor bike park is open all year round. On 1,000 m² of pump track, flow line, and jump line, visitors of all skill levels can enjoy action on two wheels. Kids can also ride safely and playfully during special Kids Sessions.
How do I get to you?
You can arrive by car or train. If you need a taxi from the train station to AREA 47, feel free to call Taxi Tipotsch at +43 5266 88216 or Taxi West at +43 664 80 65 85 00. They will take you directly to us!
When can I check in?
Our reception is closed in winter, but don’t worry – check-in is simple with a self-check-in process. You will receive an email in advance with all the important information and access details
